Jordan product determined points in matrix algebras
Let Mn(R) be the algebra of all n×n matrices over a unital commutative ring R with 6 invertible. We say that A ∈ Mn(R) is a Jordan product determined point if for every R-module X and every symmetric R-bilinear map {·, ·} : Mn(R)×Mn(R) → X the following two conditions are equivalent: (i) there exists a fixed element w ∈ X such that {x, y} = w whenever x ◦ y = A, x, y ∈ Mn(R); (ii) there exists ...
متن کاملRepresentable sequential algebras and observation spaces
We define the concepts of representable and abstract sequential Q-algebra, which are generalizations of the (relational) Q-algebras in [10]. Just as in that paper, we then prove that the two concepts coincide. In the following section we recall the concept of observation space and note that all complex algebras of observation spaces are representable sequential algebras. Finally we give an unco...
متن کاملAdditivity of Jordan Triple Product Homomorphisms on Generalized Matrix Algebras
In this article, it is proved that under some conditions every bijective Jordan triple product homomorphism from generalized matrix algebras onto rings is additive. As a corollary, we obtain that every bijective Jordan triple product homomorphism from Mn(A) (A is not necessarily a prime algebra) onto an arbitrary ring R is additive.
متن کاملDeformation of central charges, vertex operator algebras whose Griess algebras are Jordan algebras
If a vertex operator algebra V = ⊕n=0Vn satisfies dimV0 = 1, V1 = 0, then V2 has a commutative (nonassociative) algebra structure called Griess algebra. One of the typical examples of commutative (nonassociative) algebras is a Jordan algebra. For example, the set Symd(C) of symmetric matrices of degree d becomes a Jordan algebra. On the other hand, in the theory of vertex operator algebras, cen...
متن کاملApproximation of Jordan homomorphisms in Jordan Banach algebras RETRACTED PAPER
In this paper, we investigate the generalized Hyers-Ulam stability of Jordan homomorphisms in Jordan Banach algebras for the functional equation begin{align*} sum_{k=2}^n sum_{i_1=2}^ksum_{i_2=i_{1}+1}^{k+1}cdotssum_{i_n-k+1=i_{n-k}+1}^n fleft(sum_{i=1,i not=i_{1},cdots ,i_{n-k+1}}^n x_{i}-sum_{r=1}^{n-k+1} x_{i_{r}}right) + fleft(sum_{i=1}^{n}x_{i}right)-2^{n-1} f(x_{1}) =0, end{align*} where ...
